Kishore Biyani, Group CEO of Future Group loves calling himself a simple ‘dukandar’ and what a dukan he has built. He started with a small trouser making unit called Manz Wear in the mid-80s, an initial public offering (IPO) in few years and some experiments later Kishore Biyani launched Big Bazaar, the store that go on to redefine the retail landscape in India. The man who calls himself a simple ‘dukandar’ was now being called the Sam Walton of India.
